Workshop: "Gemulicious”

Featuring the gorgeous gem collection, created by textile artist, MJ Kinman, you’ll learn an innovative method for paper piecing using freezer paper, not foundation paper piecing. The freezer paper pieces can be reused, so no tearing away paper. Templates are applied to the RIGHT side of fabric, so no confusing reverse piecing and less fabric waste. Pick one or more of your favorite gems to make. As great for beginners as those seeking to add a new skill to their quilting quiver. Easy and fun results!

Kits: For this workshop, Ms Kinman has generously agreed to provide kits at a discount as part of a group order. The price includes the pattern and a coordinating fabric bundle of Paintbrush Studio Fabrics to make (1) 17” square block. Each pattern includes instructions, a fully coded freezer paper pattern, and a regular paper pattern to use as a key. The cost for kits varies with the number of different fabrics needed to create each gemstone.
